Interesting question. There was an episode of JAG years ago with Ernest Borgnine where someone asked his character what it felt like to be old (80 I think was the age in the show, but can't recall). He replied that it feels the same as 70, the same as 60, the same as 50, etc. In your head, you still feel like you are in your 20s. I think this is very true and perhaps you start being old when you start thinking of your age as old? Not sure on this. I do know that you might still think you are younger, but your bones, muscles, etc. are telling you otherwise. Perhaps that noise gets louder and louder?
